Eyelid Scars
Tissue of the eyelid which are everted or pulled down by
(a) scar(s) after accident.

An ectropion with a contorted ridge of the eyelid caused
by a scar after an accident, often after vulnerations
caused by a windscreen, can lead to problems with
worsening of seeing. If the upper eyelids are involved
or if there is a problem of the eyelid-closure,
complications are even more frequent.
Aesthetical alterations aggravate the situation
accessorily.
If there is no acute indication for an early revision,
one should first use salves against hypertrophic
reactions of the tissue.
After an aggressive development of scar-building within
the affected region fades away, a reconstructive surgery
(with the chance of a good result) gets possible.
