Blepharochalasis + Tumor

Blepharochalasis Upper Eyelids + Malignant Tumor Right Lower Eyelid.

Sometimes an important clinical finding is covered by another clinical aspect, as it can be seen here: the blepharochalasis of the upper eyelid at the right eye covers a squamous cell carcinoma of the right lower eyelid!

Thus, it is very important, before oculoplastic as well as before general surgery, to integrate the treatment of such a malignant tumor into the whole conception of the planned surgery.

In this case the tumor is treated first. After this a blepharoplastic surgery of the upper eyelid can take place.
